Yes. While people were rushing out to by hybrids and grab the moral high ground, I kept driving my 2002 gasoline car. Chances are the cars they traded in are still being driven by someone else and likely more miles than before. Used car buyers tend to have longer commutes. Better to reduce the miles I’m driving which mostly meant allowing time to walk or take public. Keeping the gasoline auto parked is my carbon sequestration program. Meanwhile the hybrid drivers seem to be driving more than ever, gilt free not thinking how most electricity is generated.
