YEs, Except for a few rough actors the world is very much coming together to reverse climate change. We are not only reducing emissions, we are also capturing more carbon out of the air with photosynthesis. The grasses are drawing down the most CO2, prairie grasses, salt marsh grass, sea grass and even lawn grass. When not fertilized, lawn grass will pump liquid carbon into the ground building soil. For one ton of liquid carbon grass pulls 3.67 tons of CO2 out of the air. Grass lawns can add an inch of soil in a year. An acre of such a lawn will capture 1,000 tons of CO2 a year. All the plants around and in the lawn benefit from healthy soils, not mention rabbits and robins.
