Throwing tomato soup on to the glass protecting Van Goh’s flowers was brilliant. It did no harm and got international attention. And the protesters owned up to their deed by glued to the wall. All was restored in about an hour. No harm done.

Individuals are not responsible for the climate crisis. We cannot tell each other what to eat, how and when to travel, etc. those are personal choices. Only government can manage people and corporations for the greatest good and least damages. Gov serve people and will act sooner with the more people call attention to what is need. The most robust solutions come from the most diverse participants listening to and being respectful of each other.

Rosa Parks sitting in front of the bus got national attention and only then did governments make changes from the top down.
