Oh. But you do know what you are doing. You are operating with one hand tied behind your back because your Mom has restricted your ability to talk to doctors and others. You are fortunate that the church group is finding her a place to live. Her complaints will fall on them, not you. You know it won’t be perfect to her satisfaction. And you can lend an ear with empathy because you’ve got no skin in that game. Celebrate the times when you may stream whatever you want. You’ve earned it. Don’t underestimate how exhausting this all is and take care of yourself. ‘Cause no one else will and you are on this for the long haul. Bravo for all you are doing for your mom. Ultimately it’s her responsibility not yours. Clearly you care. She is fortunate to have your care. Unfortunately she will not fully appreciate it.
