Hermann Daily is right. Be careful. The Gospel of Limits to Growth appeals to pizza-earthers who believe the more people on Earth the smaller will be their slice. This results in hoarding and encourages disparities between the haves and have-nots.
Diet for a small planet recognizes that nature is organizing, that more is accomplished by egalitarian leadership, accomplishing more in concert with others. Nobody worries about too many brain cells exceeding the capacity of boney skulls, too many bacteria, about 8 billion, in our gut, or having too much compassion or fellowship. It's not the amount of growth; it's the type of growth. It’s not black or white, it's all the colors in the rainbow including some we can’t see.
