As for politicians they represent their constituents. So one from a fossil fuel employment place like Wyoming and Oklahoma they must advance that. We don't have time to wait for quixotic elections but must work with the politians we’ve got. Fortunately there are politicians from purple areas who may go either way. And there are more ways to address climate change than fossil fuel.
